Subterranean offsets that quickly form their own roots and then separate from the mother plant is a common feature in 'Thelocephala' and C. laui. I failed to check on the spot if these were offsets or merely seedlings growing close to mum.

Or are these merely seedlings of the other 2 species? Or a 'Thelocephala'?
