I took only nine pictures
today, of workmen looking into the problem of the well (or rather the
pump in the well) and hoping to get to the bottom of the problem soon;
and of Leo dangling his feet in the swimming pool and becoming irritated
by the six or seven dogs that were quite insistent that he should throw
a tennis ball into the garden so that they could run after it and
retrieve it - over and over and over again.
It was good to think
that many of our fellow Copiapoathoners from last week were now
completing their fourth day back at work while we still had two weeks of
our holiday to go. R&R is good, but I was getting restless and found
myself looking at maps and looking for places to go for a next trip,
when ever this might be. By lunchtime, it became clear that Florencia
would be needed at Lonquen for a few days more, so I presented the plan
I had hatched to Juan and Leo who jumped at the idea .....
